Welcome from the Principal

We warmly welcome you to Ashford Hill Primary School.  This website is designed to give you an insight to our daily life at school and I do hope that you enjoy having a look around.  We are a village school at the centre of the community in Ashford Hill and Headley, with beautiful and extensive grounds. 

At Ashford Hill, our aim is to collaborate together in order to  ‘Be the best that we can be’.  Through a nurturing, ambitious and thought-provoking curriculum, we hope to inspire our children with our rich learning journeys, extra-curricular activities and strong links with the community. We strive to empower children to see the importance of their social responsibility and their place within our society and ever-changing world.  

As a village school, we are a friendly and inclusive community that work together to provide the very best for our children. As well as supporting our children to achieve their best academically, we put children’s social and emotional wellbeing at the forefront of our ethos and believe it is equally important to help children to flourish as confident and happy young people.

As part of Thames Learning Trust, we have a strong relationship with other schools across Hampshire, Berkshire and Slough; this enables us to collaborate with other schools and engage in rich professional development opportunities leading to a wealth of knowledge and experience across our team.

I am very proud to be the Principal of Ashford Hill. Having such wonderful children, a supportive and forward-thinking Trust, an experienced staff team and dedicated parent body means that there is no limit to what we can achieve together.
