Safeguarding determines the actions that we take to keep children safe and protect them from harm in all aspects of their school life. As a school we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of our pupils.
The actions that we take to prevent harm; to promote wellbeing; to create safe environments; to educate on rights, respect and responsibilities; to respond to specific issues and vulnerabilities, all form part of the safeguarding responsibilities of our school.

If a child is in immediate danger, do not hesitate to call 999 and report this to the police.
Are you concerned about the safety or welfare of a child?
You don't need to know everything about the child before contacting children's services. If you are concerned about the welfare of a child, it is important that you talk to someone about this.

Are you concerned about someone working with children?
If you are concerned about the conduct of a member of staff, either in a paid or voluntary capacity, contact the Local Area Designated Officer (LADO).
